At Faith Filled Family, we value God, life, and family. It says in Psalm 139: 13-16 “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”
If you believe that God’s Word is true, then you must believe, according to this scripture, that a. God’s hand created you while your mother was pregnant with you; He created you with a special purpose (plan), and b. that He ordained all of your days before you were born. This scripture alone is enough to make anyone feel special, wanted, and loved by God.
Taken in a different context, just like we want to know that we have a purpose, and want to feel special, this scripture highlights that all life is precious. It is not just talking about your life, but all life in general, and this includes abortions. No matter what the circumstance, we cannot deny what is written in Psalm for it was given by revelation. God’s Word never changes, is absolute, and there are no caveats. When we terminate a pregnancy, we are terminating something that God created, and created with a plan and purpose.
That being said, we don’t condemn those that have had abortions. It is never an easy decision to terminate a pregnancy. Even if you have had an abortion, please know that God still loves you- you are His child. He will forgive you (Psalm 103:12), and He does not want you to be condemned or feel judged- that is what Satan will try to do.
The decisions we make in life, are always up to us as God gave us a free will. We do want to provide you with information to consider should you be faced, for whatever reason, with an unexpected pregnancy.
A new and free online TED documentary discusses why legislators and physicians should not supported induced abortion. It documents the procedure’s extensive list of well-documented serious health risks to women: immediate, delayed, emotional and physical aspects.
The movie presents seven researched and documented health risks of abortion that most women are completely unaware of. It explains that abortion legislature arose out of an untested premise that abortion, in many cases, was safer than childbirth for the mother.
Upon researching this topic, the presenters discovered that there were no reliable U.S. statistics to support the theory, and they were forced to examine countries that reliably and medically documented abortion statistics and their effects. Upon examination, they found the theory that abortion is more beneficial to be false. Ten meta-studies (studies of studies) concluded that there are serious health risks that most women are never informed of. Nothing supported that abortion was a benign procedure.
B. Keith Neely, the producer, is shocked to discover “All sense of fairness to and respect for women and their right to know seems to have been lost.” as more and more legislators and physicians fail to notify women of the complete health risks.
Wounded and Abandoned details their findings. It is detailed and medially accurate. It does include some biological animation as the abortion procedure is explained to support their findings, but it is not gruesome, nor “live”. It outlines that the damage may not be just temporary, but can last a lifetime and can seriously affect conception and future children.
