Too many women, nowadays, are feeling the effects of being overwhelmed. The demands and circumstances of life often result in stress, fear, worry, impatience, fatigue, frustration, and can often lead to depression. The effect that it has on our emotions are overwhelming resulting in a physical manifestation including weight gain, insomnia, headaches, and anxiety.
So how to we deal with it? How does the cycle stop?
Faith Filled Family Magazine was privileged to interview Hayley DiMarco on her latest book, “A Women Overwhelmed: Finding God in the Messes of Life”. DiMarco shows readers what changes would occur if they could see the insanity in their current pace, and turn to embrace God.
DiMarco speaks with great understanding about how women often become frustrated at having so many (sometimes too many) tasks to do. She is also very relatable when she discusses how moms can become frustrated when their children do chores, but not to the full expectation, and when they don’t do chores at all. She describes that in our overwhelmed state, women often look for help in alleviating some of the stress, only to end up trying to control the situation.
Through her book, and the interview, Hayley DiMarco teaches readers how to stop being overwhelmed by life, and how to be overwhelmed by God- to discover the goodness of God. She teaches readers how do discover the depths of God’s love for us, and to rely on His power.
If any of these emotions describe you:
Desire for Control
Lack of Self-Control
Then Hayley may have the answers that you seek!
Hayley DiMarco will discuss her experiences, and what led her to write her book, “A Woman Overwhelmed”, in our October issue coming out on September 26, 2017!
