We have all been enraptured with the bible story of Noah and the Ark. Now you get a chance to witness a true wonder of the world exhibit that will thrill people of all ages as you watch the Bible come alive right before your eyes. This is an exhibit that you do not want to miss.
The replica of Noah’s Ark is set to open July 7, 2016. The Ark Encounter stated that the massive exhibit will be open for “40 days and 40 nights” during the first 40 days of operation in reference to the biblical account of the flood. Normal business hours should begin on August 15.
The Ark is based on the measurements that was presented in the bible: 510′ x 85’x 51′ and sits on 800 acres.
The opening date is very exciting for most everyone. What is the special significance? Genesis 7:7 states Noah and his family entered the Ark on this day. For the opening day, more than 16,000 people are expected to attend.
The exhibit is located in Williamstown, Kentucky and is one-of-a-kind attraction. The Ark Encounter cost 91.5 million to build and of that, 80 million has been raised.
The attraction holds over 132 Bible themed exhibits that include a pre-flooded walled city, the tower of Babel, a first century village, a journey from Abraham to the parting of the Red Sea, and petting zoo that brings God’s Word to life.
The “Noah’s Ark Encounter” plans to try and answer questions by showing scripture, working cages and scenarios of how Noah and his family were able to free and take care of all the animals.
Tickets cost $4o.00 for adults, seniors are $31.00, Children 5-12 are $28.00 and children under 5 are free.
The Ark Encounter is expected to become one of the marvel wonders of the world.
